We knew as soon as we met him that he's nobody's fool.... or IS he??

We took him out with us to the Cancun Restaurant after his first visit to the fire station for the traditional meeting of the guys at the firehall and the usual sucking-up to the district chief. We were impressed with his language skills as he is fluent in spanish, but don't make the assumption that he's Mexican!!!! I repeat... DON'T CALL HIM A MEXICAN!!! This is the fastest way to royally piss him off!!! You don't want this 5 foot 4 inch monster on your ass!!! Seriously, just because his name sounds Mexican, he dresses in Mexican sombreros and can speak like every other mexican I've ever met that in itself is in NO WAY saying he's a Mexican...

So in honor of his visit we decided to tell our servers that it was Joel's birthday! They came out with this huge MEXICAN sombrero and a real nice dish of FLAN (it's like a MEXICAN ice cream) and sang the traditional MEXICAN birthday song to Joel! It was soooooo funny, he turned 3 shades of red. Then it came time to make a wish and blow out the MEXICAN candle... Make a wish, Joel!!!!
